![]() Punishments Under Law Have Never Been Found To Actually Prevent Those Harms From Occurring And If One Asks Anyone Who Breaks The Law Whether Those Laws Deterred Them From Undertaking The Harm, The Answer Would Always Be, Of Course Not, As They Went Ahead And Did It Anyway. Justice Under The Law, That Is, Rule Of Law, Has Always Been Subverted To Suit The Aims Of Those In Power, Who Mainly Are Focusing Only On Retaining Power. If One Accepts That A Harm Is Unacceptable To Society As A Whole, Law If There Supposedly To Prevent Those Harms For Occurring. The Author, Preoccupied With Analyzing What Was, And What Is, Both Worthy Subjects Of Much Greater Attention, Could Instead Have Started From A Different Premise, That Is, What Is This Justice Of Which You Speak, And If We Are To Make It A Goal Of State Action, To What Purpose?
